n 2000, St. Paul’s Church and members of the local community began to develop an area of church land from waste ground into a green space to benefit the whole neighbourhood. This space is called Eden at St Paul’s. Eden is a charity run by a committee and applies for sourced funding, with support from Lambeth Council.

We aim to create a sustainable and tranquil green space that provides a habitat for wildlife in the inner city, where members of the public can come and actively participate, or simply sit and read or play with their children.

At Eden there are community compost facilities, the Caterpillar Club for children with green fingers, and volunteer gardening days for individuals on Tuesdays.

There will be volunteer days in Eden on the first Saturday of each month.  Please come along with all the family to help with weeding and digging and keeping things looking good. We are inclusive and welcome everybody. Drop into the garden at any time or look out for the dates of our special events and activities.
